Are you a new Customer trying to learn how to use Field2Base Products? Are you representing an existing Customer but are new to Field2Base yourself? It can seem like a lot to take in at first but with some guidance and the right materials you will be managing your Field2Base environment like a seasoned expert in no time. To help you hit the ground running, we’ve compiled this list of the top five things all new admins should know.
- The Support Center is Your Friend.
When you’re first starting out, it’s important to ask questions but it’s just as important to know where to find answers. The Field2Base Support Center is our documentation repository, housing over 200 documents dedicated to explaining Field2Base products and services. We always recommend new users check this out. It’s a great starting point as well as a valuable long-term resource. You can access the Support Center at: https://support.field2base.com
- Don’t be Afraid to Contact Us.
Studies have shown that 76% of customers prefer no human interaction when trying to solve a software-related problem. While we try to cater to that notion via the Support Center, sometimes you’ll need to contact our team directly. In situations like these you can reach out to us by chat, email, or phone. We’ll do our best to help you as soon as possible. If you’re a new Customer, your Sales Rep may have already mentioned Free Training hosted by our Customer Success Team. Please ask us if you’re interested in scheduling a training session covering a particular part of our software or services.
- Chat Widget accessible through the Support Center.
- Email the Support Team at: email@example.com.
- Support Phone Line: 919-462-8500 ex. 2
- Pay Attention to Our Official Communications!
In an age filled with spam and advertising, it’s no wonder people tend to block out most communications from service providers. However, you should know that when Field2Base sends out product announcements to identified Administrators, they are usually to relay critical information such as release information, maintenance windows, critical announcements. We won’t send you promotional materials or advertisements. All notifications we send out are aimed at helping you stay informed as a Field2Base Administrator. With that said, please make sure your email settings allow all communications from our domain, @field2base.com, to stay as up to date as possible.
- The Best Way to Learn Our Products is by Doing.
Sometimes knowing how to do something is dwarfed by the experience of having done something, and the learning process for our products is no exception to this. We recommend using a combination of the materials and services listed above to try starting a new project on your own. Try designing and publishing your first Form using our Forms Designer software or familiarizing yourself with how to manage your deployment via our Admin Portal. There are plenty of educational experiences to sink your teeth into if you like seizing the initiative, and we’re always here to help when you hit bumps in the road. You can get started learning the Admin Portal by using our Admin Portal Quick Start Guide. It will walk you through the basics of managing your deployment online and provides a synopsis of what is on offer within the Portal.
- Provide Feedback
We are constantly striving to make our software as user friendly as possible and we consider customer feedback the best way to improve our products. We have several avenues through which you can share feedback but the main two are our Support Team or our Contact Us Form. You can always tell a Support Team member directly, but if you would prefer to leave an improvement or feature request online, you can do so by filling out our Contact Us Form. To do this please navigate to the Support Center and click the “Support” button at the bottom left of the page. Fill in the required details when prompted and let us know what you think.
We hope that these five tips will aid you on your journey to become a better Field2Base Administrator. Should you run into trouble or if you simply have questions, please let us know and we’ll make sure you get the help you need.
